It’s grand and beautiful in the Cayman Islands, located in the western Caribbean Sea. The population is estimated to be slightly over 56,000. One of its main attractions is Seven Mile Beach with a number of island hotels and resorts. There are also several snorkelling locations where tourists can swim with stingrays. The stingrays started to associate the sound of boat motors with food and therefore began to visit the area year round. Definitely suggest a visit.
Had a great time visiting the Cayman Turtle Farm in the Grand Cayman Islands. One of the “stars” included the loggerhead turtle that is typically 2.5 to 3.5 feet in shell length. An adult loggerhead weighs between 155 and 375 lbs.
Stay tuned for fun facts about my recent cruise on Carnival Paradise to the Grand Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico. It was fun, breathtaking, and definitely happy land. Our cruise was truly paradise at sea.
