Waves of Delight

Always ready for a new adventure, my husband and I hopped in our car during a moment of pure spontaneity and drove from Georgia to Florida.  Fresh from our 2014 holiday celebrations with family and friends.  Fresh from hearing an uplifting message during the first worship service of the new year.  We now wanted to “decompress” from an action packed last two months.  We thought to ourselves what better way to do so than to spend some time at the beach.  So, we headed to Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.  Also, when you visit Ft. Walton Beach, you get a bonus – Destin, known as the “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village” and only a nine mile trek from Ft. Walton.  So we enjoyed both; thereby, experiencing the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean – the calmness of nearby Okaloosa Island, and all the richness of the white sand and the resounding ocean waves.  We found relaxation, great seafood eateries such as The Crab Trap, located right on the beach, and an abundance of peace, love, joy and happiness during our brief and gratifying getaway.
